Privacy Policy

TWO HEARTS is a matrimonial platform operated in Lahore, Pakistan. We connect Pakistani families and individuals seeking marriage in Pakistan and overseas.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password
• Profile information: date of birth, gender, marital status, height, city, country, education, profession, sect, caste, mother tongue, family details, photos, and any information you choose to add
• Verification documents: CNIC front and back images (stored privately, never shown to other users)
• Usage information: pages visited, IP address, browser type, device type
• Communication: messages you send to other users within the platform, and correspondence with our support team

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Match you with compatible profiles based on your preferences
• Verify your identity through CNIC verification
• Display your profile to other users based on your privacy settings
• Facilitate communication with your matches
• Send transactional emails (interest notifications, messages)
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
• Comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law

Your privacy is controlled by you:

• Public profile information (name, age, city, education, profession, sect) is visible to other registered users
• Photos follow your chosen visibility: Public (all logged-in users), On Request (only after you accept an interest), or Private (hidden until you reveal to a specific match)
• Phone number and contact details are only shared with your matches, based on your consent
• CNIC documents are visible only to our verification team. They are never shown to other users
• Chat messages are visible only to you and the match you are chatting with

We take security seriously. Your data is protected by:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic
• Private, access-controlled storage for sensitive documents (CNIC images)
• Row-Level Security policies on all database tables
• Password hashing using industry-standard algorithms
• Regular security audits and updates

Despite our best efforts, no online service is 100% secure. We recommend using a strong, unique password and never sharing your account credentials.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• Your profile, photos, and messages are deleted within 7 days
• CNIC documents are permanently deleted within 30 days (or immediately on request)
• Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for reporting

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information with:

• Supabase — our database and file storage provider (data encrypted at rest)
• Resend — for delivering transactional emails
• Vercel — for hosting the platform
• Legal authorities — only if required by Pakistani law or valid court order

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing
• Change your photo and contact visibility settings at any time
• File a complaint with us or with Pakistan's data protection authorities

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

TWO HEARTS is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 and applicable data protection regulations.
